How to Set the Prettiest Thanksgiving Table
My first year hosting thanksgiving was overwhelming to say the least. Growing up with holiday’s that in my mind were perfect and full of all the right magical details, I felt like it would be close to impossible to even compete. After a few deep breaths and a trip to HomeGoods I was re-energized and inspired. I decided to do fall but with my own beach-y aesthetic to fit in with the decor of our beach house (where we hosted!). I made sure to fill the table with lots of textures like raffia place mats (so affordable!), bark coasters and fresh berries. Then I added a little bit of edge and holiday sparkle with some stripes, gold metal flatware and copper blocks for serving dishes. The only thing left to do was throw in a few mini pumpkins and a giant turkey to get the full effect.
